Their reasoning helps to dispel myths and help people base their arguments on truce rather than on misconceptions or beliefs.Philosophers used methods like methodic doubt where they become a skeptical about the existing ideas, arguments where they argue facts to support solutions to existing doubts and dialectics when addressing and discussing various philosophical issues. Philosophy is critical in improving the reasoning skills of an individual when handling concepts, identifying assumptions and questioning them; it also improves the communication skills of a person, relevance and neatness in oral and written presentations. Philosophy enhances reflexivity in handling issues being aware of oneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s thinking and ability to assess your weakness and those of other people. It facilitates the personal independence of thought in arguments and learning. It also helps an individualà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s co-cooperativeness and ability to participate in teamwork at different levels besides being a productive member in group discussions and all activities involving collaboration.Philosophy has been used to develop useful knowledge in several fields of learning.
